Fleet Support and CarTalk International join forces
Fleet Support gaat gebruikmaken van de diensten van CarTalk International, leverancier van voertuiginformatie. De samenwerking is voor Fleet Support een volgende belangrijke stap om internationale klanten optimaal te kunnen bedienen en is op 9 mei jl. bekrachtigd door Eugène Krabbenborg, Managing Director Fleet Support, en Maarten Slagtveld, Managing Director CarTalk International.
The collaboration with CarTalk International enables Fleet Support to use international vehicle data including repair and maintenance costs per vehicle, tyre replacement costs and, in the future, also an estimate of residual values.
Eugène Krabbenborg, Managing Director Fleet Support: “When selecting the data supplier, we specifically looked at data quality, consistency and (local) market conformity. It is important to us that the data we use derive from the local market in question. That allows us to create the purest and fairest possible benchmark on the development of lease pricing. This benefits both our international customers and their leasing companies.
Joint action
The contract signing follows a successful one-year pilot. That focused on Fleet Support’s International Lease Rate Monitor (iLRM), a tool that depends on good international vehicle data. It is a striking example of joint action, as Fleet Support uses the iLRM to test the market conformity of international leasing rates. Benchmarking and the subsequent securing lease rates is important for fleet managers. That gives them insight into the price level and the certainty of lease rates in line with the market.
Keep innovating
Maarten Slagtveld, Managing Director CarTalk International: the cooperation between Fleet Support and CarTalk International has been well thought out and carefully elaborated. The flexibility and ambition of both companies led to the data supply they wanted and its use in Fleet Support’s services. It does not stop here in terms of development and we will continue to innovate together with Fleet Support and our partners in order to keep the service distinctive.’
International ambitions
The first customers – international companies with fleets of hundreds and sometimes even thousands of leased cars – have now signed up with Fleet Support. The cooperation with CarTalk International is in line with the international ambitions of Fleet Support, which recently opened an office in Munich. In 2021, it joined forces with the Belgian company Gloriant; with XPOfleet and Mobilitypower, an international expert in fleet management software and outsourcing.
