We are aware of the confidence you place in us. Therefore, we see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy.
On this page, we inform you of what information we collect when you use our website, why we collect this data, and how we improve your user experience with it. This way, you understand exactly how we work.
What do we collect?
We collect the following information:
- First and last name
- E-mail address
- Phone number
Why do we request information?
We request information in order to provide you with services, to be able to provide a better service and to get a better picture of you. This can be done in different ways:
- You contacted us.
- You want to receive our newsletter by e-mail.
- You want to occasionally receive an e-mail with offers for new products, services, events or similar matters.
- You have indicated that we may approach you for a marketing survey.
The reason we are allowed to request this information is almost always that you gave permission for this. Sometimes, we have a so-called legitimate interest. This is the case with, for instance, the security of our website. In rare cases, it is a legal obligation.
How do we secure your information?
We have taken suitable technical and organisational measures to secure your personal information. Your information is stored on secure servers, from Fleet Support or a reputable supplier. Our website is also secured with an HTTPS connection and our environment is secured by firewalls, web filters and virus scanners. We are certified according to the ISO standard 27001, the standard for information security. This means risks are kept as limited as possible when it comes to confidentiality and availability of sensitive information. ISO 27001 is a component of our management systems ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management).
How long do we store your information?
The personal information we process is not stored any longer than necessary. If you have given your consent, the personal information will be stored until you withdraw your consent. In case of a legitimate interest, we maintain a reasonable term. With a legal retention obligation, we always apply the legal term. We remove personal information if it is no longer needed, if the (legal) retention term has expired or if you request us to - and it is legally permitted to remove your personal information.
Who receives your information?
Collected personal information is not sold or given to third parties. Personal information is only passed on if this is permitted by law.
What are your rights?
You can always view your personal information or have it changed. Fully or partially ceasing processing is also possible at your request. Removal is only possible if it is permitted by law. You can always object to the processing of your personal information. You can also submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. We may ask you for identification before we can help you exercise your rights.
